Volunteering is a rewarding experience. We need help in a lot of areas that do not necessarily involve being close to one of our main hubs. We need administrative help and technological help that can be done anywhere in the world! If you have a heart for Big Dogs, come join the BDRP team.
We especially need transport volunteers and foster homes in Texas, New Jersey (and surrounding areas) and the Pacific Northwest (with an emphasis on Seattle). We frequently need emergency overnight homes in all areas of Texas and help transporting dogs towards the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We use foster homes throughout the state so regardless of area, please consider fostering for BDRP.
BDRP covers all the foster dog’s medical care. Foster homes just provide food, love and pictures. Fostering commitment time varies greatly, please be up front with what you are able to do and we will do the same. Most foster home situations are a 2-4 week commitment. Some dogs, especially those with medical conditions take longer to place.
